The band will release their latest album, Bellatopia, on that date as well (read the review here) and with that they have plenty to be proud of. The band has been making promotional appearances already, having taped an appearance on 105.5 Triple M’s “Live from Studio M” program. You can hear that program on Sunday, October 4th at 9 am and again at 9 pm. The band will be making other appearances at which they will be offering swag including exclusive downloads of tracks that will not appear on the album. Tune in here:

October 4th – 92.1 on “The New Mitch Henck Show: Uncommon Sense” airing 8-11 a.m.

October 9 – WORT – “8 O’Clock Buzz” program airing 8-9 a.m.

You’ll also be able to read about the Getaway Drivers in Isthmus and, of course, here at Local Sounds Magazine.

The big celebration takes place at the Brink Lounge on Saturday, October 10th. The show begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 or $10 with a copy of the new CD. Advance tickets can be ordered here. Also appearing will be Brian Daly, who engineered and co-produced the new recording, and American Feedbag.

There have been numerous members who have been involved with the Getaway Drivers over the years. Several of those will be on hand to perform a special set of music to honor their time with the band including Dan Kennedy, Barbara Chusid, Ellie Erickson and Tom Broeske. A second set will have the band playing their fine new album Bellatopia in its entirety.
