Whiskey Farm’s New Album Project on Pledge Music; Proceeds Will Also Benefit Madison Area Music Association
Crowd Funding has become the new craze amongst artists, nonprofits and others who are looking to monetize undertakings. Especially popular are projects that are intended to cover recording costs.
Whiskey Farm, fronted by singer/songwriter Jason Horowitz, currently have a project underway at Pledge Music to fund their upcoming release. The band’s sound is difficult to pigeonhole but can be described under the broad Americana genre. You can read a review of their recent Middle America album here.
An added bonus is that 5% of the proceeds will benefit the Madison Area Music Association.
As a funder you will recieve updates and links to demos and other unreleased Whiskey Farm gems. Additionally, you’ll be supporting local artists in a direct way, impacting their ability to produce recordings which are becoming increasingly hard to sell.
You can catch Whiskey Farm live this week at 3 PM at the High Noon on the 14th as part of the Tammy Baldwin Fundraiser. They will also appear on Mad Toast Live on the 16th at the Brink Lounge.
