Gomers Treat Madison With a Free mp3 From Their New Album

Just in time for Halloween, the Gomers have posted a free mp3 from their upcoming Album, Gomerica.

The tune is entitled “On Halloween” and can be downloaded here. The band describes the song as, “a fun scary tune about mimes, Amy Grantula, the Mummy and more.”

The band’s alter-ego, the Zombeatles, just returned from a weekend Halloween tour of the East Coast. You can welcome the Gomers back at the High Noon Saloon  Friday for Rockstar Gomeroke.

Here’s a word from Biff:

“The new Gomers album is tentatively titled ‘Gomerica’ and we recorded it at Smart Studios, Mr. Zirkel engineering and mixing. It sounds fat, with lots of new songs and a few oldies – though unreleased. One is the seasonal “On Halloween” that we shared; the other is co-written by Mike Rock (Comedy Sportz, and now “The Voice of Chelsea Lately”) called “Foolish Youth On Bike.” A bunch of Wallman/Adler, Biff/Adler and even a Stephen Burke tune he wrote about the Smart boys round out the record.
We don’t have a release date; it is nearly mastered though, so – it’s a forthcoming release without a timetable at this time.”
